Dear Mr. Koss:

I am writing this letter as a follow-up to our phone conversation on August 30, 2000, concerning your questions on customers wearing shoes in a restaurant or retail food establishment.

At this time there are no regulations which address the wearing of shoes by customers in a food service operation. Also, I am not aware of any proposed legislation dealing with this subject. If you have any further questions, please contact me at 645-6747.
