  RE: Trial on Traffic Citation
    Case No. 2008-TR-510

Dear Ian and Parent:

On July 29, 2008, you received a traffic citation for A.C.D.A. On August 27, 2008, you and your parent(s) went before the Fairfield County Juvenile Court for an arraignment and denied the citation. Upon denying the citation it was scheduled for trial on September 19, 2008 at 2:15 p.m.

Our office is willing to amend you're A.C.D.A. to a non-moving violation of Operation of an Unsafe Vehicle if the juvenile is willing to admit the amended charge. The State would make no recommendation as to sentencing. The matter would be left to the discretion of the Court. If the Court suspends your license, it may or may not grant occupational driving privileges during the period of suspension. We make no promises as to what the Court may order.

If you wish to avoid a trial and admit to a charge of an Operation of an Unsafe Vehicle, both the parent and child must sign the enclosed form and return it immediately. If you accept this agreement, pleas sign the enclosed form, return it to our office, and be sure to keep a copy of the form to take to court with you. Please appear at court at the time originally designated as the date for trial; a plea to the amended charge will take place at that time.

If you do not wish to accept this offer, please disregard the above and appear at the scheduled time in order to proceed to trial.

Sincerely,
/s/ Erin R. McLaughlin/ajB
