Columbus library

I have driven through Columbus several times and have often thought it looked like a place I would like to spend more time. I have recently read an article about a barefoot man suing the library for being thrown out [City Journal: "Watch where you step"—January].

The library's defense was that there was "blood, feces, vomit, semen and broken glass." These were found "on restroom floors, in an elevator, on chairs, in a lobby and in reading and children's areas."

Forget the barefoot guy! This place is a hazard to human life! They allow children to sit on the floor and then the child gets up, using his or her hands for leverage, and then puts their hands to their eyes, nose or mouth, and that's OK? This place should be shut down by the health department! When I do stop in Columbus, be assured, I will not be stopping at the library!
